History
The Allan family has been in
the food & catering industry for over 30 years. Jean Allan started as a
waitress with the famous Brant Inn in Burlington at the young age of 15. Over
her 17 years there, she worked her way up to the position of food manager.
Jean owned A&B
Catering in Hamilton for 20 years. In that time over 500 weddings
and literally hundreds of thousands of people were served. Some key clients included
Dofasco, Hamilton Golf & Country Club, Mount Hope Golf & Country Club to name
a few.
For the past 8 years Jean has
been with Allan's Sandy Bay Restaurant with her
son & chef Doug Allan. They are joined by Doug's wife, Ellie, to offer superior quality food and service.

Sandy Bay Surf 'N' Turf
Restaurant is located on the tranquil shores of Lake Huron in Oliphant,
Ontario, which is about half an hour west of Owen Sound. We have seating for
60 people indoors, and another 30 on the new outdoor patio. We are fully
licensed by the AGCO and all our alcohol servers are certified with "Smart
Serve" training.
We are proud to offer excellent live musical entertainment
for catering and in our restaurant. Some of our artists

LINK, Mark Ebel, Hart Richardson, Paul Danard & Tyler
Wagler, and original Bruce Peninsula folk group "West of the Checkerboard".
